About Us

Greetings from the Chickering Reporters!

We are a group of 4th and 5th grade student reporters, who report [blog] about the activities and events happening at our school

When 5th graders meet on full-day Wednesdays, we work together in groups and decide how to make improvements on our blog or comment on other blogs.

We debate and vote on the best ideas.  We have this job because we don’t think playing an instrument is right for us (the rest of our classmates learn to play an instrument of their choice and 5th graders play in the school band or jazz band).

Both 4th and 5th grade reporters meet once a week by classroom. Groups change, within each classroom, with each new project. Not only do we write blog posts but we create podcasts, videos, and multimedia presentations.
