  1. Dear Reema and Cecilia,
I love hearing about the origins of Halloween. Do you think the Irish immigrants brought it with them? It is interesting that the United States has adopted this tradition.
One suggestion, the next time you are filming, make sure the person operating the camera stays out to the way of the camera; you can see their head in the lower right-hand corner. If you import the movie into iMovie, you have the option to crop the video and then remove their head. One funny thing, which I encountered this week with my own students, is that people being videoed with the self-facing camera should not wear clothing with text … it appears backwards. 😉
Reema, it is wonderful to see you still participating in Chickering Reporters. Welcome to Cecilla! I hope you enjoy your year as a Reporter. Thanks, girls, for including where you obtained your information.
Missing everyone at Chickering and I’m looking forward to your next report.
    Warmly,
    Mrs. Chase
